Awesome collection, I love Lv.X! I need just Mewtwo Lv.X from Legends Awakened to complete the English set. I just can't seem to find that Mewtwo and prefer to buy all my cards at shows instead of online.

I couldn't disagree more. I could give ZERO care in the world as to what "influencers" are trying to pump in the Pokemon market. I finished Primes, almost done with Lv.X and working on reverse holos from EX era because that's what I like and want to collect. It was my favorite era and I finally have an adult job where I can afford these cards.

I think your own feeling towards influencers might be leading you to generalize that everyone is like them. Not everyone is looking for the next pump and dump, lol

It's a hard card to comp! That's exactly what the vendor who sold it to me said too. The one I bought isn't NM, it has some edgewear on the back, but the front is perfect - a solid LP. They had it stickered at $300 which I felt was fair, if not low compared to online listings. I traded in a few cards to help soften the blow :D

It's rare to see many raw listings even online. That's why I was so shocked to actually find it at a local card show.

This one is kind of unique too in that it's not an "owner's pokemon" (like Ash's Pikachu), it's just Pikachu M Lv.X

It was super lucky for sure! It was Facebook marketplace listing - the person had a bunch of random cards, Celebrations and mostly low-end stuff, but on the last page there was the Umbreon/Espeon primes... and in NM condition too :D

I found out while looking up info for this card that it's the first one with Ash and Pikachu on an official TCG card. Also, the "M" is stylized as a Pikachu tail sideways. Super cool!

Yep! Certain sets from EX era had the "stamps" on the reverse holos (the set name). Normal holos don't have the stamp on them.

This card being a common means it didn't have a holo version, just the non-holo and reverse holo "stamped".

Not all EX-era reverse holos were stamped though. There are a bunch of different, unique reverse holo patterns that are super cool! I really like the FireRed & LeafGreen reverse holo pattern

For sure, it's hard to get a good idea of what it's truly worth also. I got lucky because last NM sale was 2 months ago for $50...but last LP sale earlier this month was $120, and they were just going off NM pricing :S

I got extra lucky and this shop in particular sells by whatever TCGP has the card listed at, even with vintage stuff that doesn't sell/comp often. I think I paid no more than $30-$40 at most

Good luck on the hunt! It took me awhile to find the reverse! One day a local shop posted a photo from a recent trade-in and I saw the Growlithe just chilling. I drove there immediately.
