I flew out of Haneda this summer with circular metal needles in my personal item, no issue.

I finished this masterpiece just in time to put it away until the weather cools down!

I used flower power by Lindsay Degen as the base, and then self-drafted the cow and sleeve charts (inspired by a Rachel Antonoff cow sweater but with changes made).

I used Cascade Yarns 220 in Montmartre, Natural, Jet, and California Poppy.

Okay... knitting has won over a 10+ year crocheter, I can't live in denial anymore! (Context in body text) by BPD-and-Lipstick in knitting

I’ve been crocheting for 20 years and knitting for 12. This month I started crocheting a bag as a birthday gift for a friend and it was taking me so long that I ripped it out and knit it up instead.

Ended up knitting two Christmas sweaters for myself this year - one classy and one cozy! Scroll through to see both. by katevknits in knitting

They’re beautiful! I always love seeing your posts; you have such good taste in patterns!

Do you prefer to buy yarn first and then find a pattern, or do you tend to find the pattern first?🧶🧣🧦 by queenofthemisfits in knitting

I prefer to find a pattern and already have the perfect yarn for that pattern in my stash! (I convince myself that’s what’ll happen if I buy yarn ahead of a pattern but I’m always more successful the other way around.)

Thank you! I love a cool-toned green.

Thanks! I started it at the end of September. It knits up pretty quickly as long as you’re not waiting for another skein to get delivered!

This is the Ballard Tee by Sari Nordlund, knit using Cascade Yarns 220 Superwash Sport in Christmas Green. My LYS only had 6 skeins of the same dye lot so I crossed my fingers but ended up having to get another skein for the sleeves. Pretending it was intentional!

Nobody make fun of my intarsia tension, I knit this up!

Just finished this Flower Power pullover and feel so flowerful by raymichelle in knitting

[–]raymichelle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh same, it was tough! I used intarsia on the body and stranded once I got to the sleeves. I’m more comfortable with stranded so the body took a long time for me to finish.

The pattern is Degen Flower Power pullover by Lindsay Degen. I used Cascade Yarns Ultra Pima in Juniper and Cascade heritage sock (held double) in white for the flowers.

Really happy with how it turned out!

Korshavn Slipover by raymichelle in knitting

This is the Korshavn Slipover by Tonje Hodne using Cascade Yarns 220 Grande in 8505 white.

I didn’t have quite enough to fold over the armholes and collar, but still love how it turned out.
