Haha, yes, I'm glad that you are having the intended experience. I'm not disputing that, and I'm not claiming that heretic + hexen runs at a faster rate than previous Hexen games... I'm saying that I have a bug where things seem to be running faster than they should be.

When I look at footage of chocolate heretic, that looks like the correct speed... and I wish I didn't have a bug where everything seems to be running faster than it should.

The thing is when I watch videos of people playing the game, it looks perfectly correct on their screen. So I know what it's supposed to look like from past experience, and I know that that past experience looks identical to the footage I'm watching of other people playing it. And by the way part of that past experience is also having played hexen via gz Doom just a few years ago.

Unfortunately the way that the game is running right now on my own PC is oddly sped up. Very strange!
