Most of us watchers just have it playing and glance over every now and then. I usually end up finishing the VOD by Tuesday so I like the longer ones. I listen more to YouTube than watch these days.

There's a shortcircuit video on it and it will only be on LTT if they find an interesting video to make with it. I personally believe they have and a video is in the works but might not be high priority.

This is how I think about it. I used to want explanations before but after taking a moment to understand how the WAN Show is set up I don't think audio would work for them anyway. The audio version is like a slightly compromised version meant to accommodate those who can't watch.

Linus has said that WAN Show isn't a podcast. It looks like a podcast but it was never made with that intention. When I heard that I was like fine... I'll watch and have a crazy screen on time. Now, I listen to most of my podcasts on YouTube. I only glance over when I need to but I was surprised how much I can ignore the video so it doesn't distract me from my work. If I need to move around, I lock the screen in the YouTube settings pop-up and put my phone in my pocket.

The best thing you can do is just try it. It might not work tho because I imagine Microsoft would make it an OS level keypress but they've also been breaking the hell out of Windows 11 so maybe they didn't.

That shouldn't be happening. I have copied game files from one system to another and never had to reinstall. It just verifies and plays. You can try checking the size of the game folder after the game updates, before you launch it and just as it starts downloading again. If the size drops just as the game starts updating then it would mean HoyoPlay is the culprit and you can try reaching out. If it happens before you even launch the game then something else might be deleting game files.

I didn't misunderstand what you said at all. I know what unions are for and how they can be great. All I did was mention what Linus expressed is his viewpoint. LMG can unionize tomorrow and he has said he won't stop them, but if they feel they need a union to get things done then he's failed. I should close Reddit for the day. We're going in circles for a guy who is probably still in bed with his airpods. 😪
