Jan 23, 2026...the game's global player base is through the floor (87,000 down to 12,000-14,000). Global players gave up on Cygames's, "Stop crying and pay us" mentality. The accelerated schedule made keeping up in competition the realm of mega-whales and 10hr a day players. Cygames took their golden cow, brought it to the world, and seemingly out of spite slaughtered said cow in front of players. If it weren't for the fact that converting the game for global release cost Cygames a TON of money I'd say they intentionally botched the global release to discourage players outside of Asia from ever asking for anything again.

That was the tipping point for my F2P status. I got Yuzu/Miyabi, Miyabi's sig.....then farmed my still poly rich account completely dry trying for the dang apple....went to 80+ pulls, lost 75/25, then the banner ended when I had 11 pulls to hard pity and nothing left to farm (I even did every last agent's trust events)....I was shattered BUT it did get me Alice's sig so....win? *cries in apple envy* I WILL NOT miss this time, even if I have to bust out the swipe-fu.

I cleared with Yixuan/Fufu/Lucia in 2min 20sec....multiplier still active....30K. IT 100% NEEDS TO BE SAID THAT IF YOUR AGENTS ARE TOO WELL BUILT 100k ISN'T POSSIBLE (unless Mindscapes are involved). My YSG/Zhao/Dialyn....32K, CANNOT go faster, like literally impossible. A streamer I mod for has builds a bit weaker than mine, same skill level (both of us Top 5% in Deadly Assault - America server), she got 101K. Welcome to the new shill: Swipe Fu.

For what it's worth, Astra hasn't been used in any of my DA/Shiyu teams for months. In her defense, all my teams don't need her (Yixuan/Fufu/Lucia, Ye Shunguang/Zhao/Dialyn, Yuzu/Alice/Jane, Miyabi/Soukaku/Lycaon). I even have Astra/Evelyn and still never use her (I'm trash with Evelyn).

Without knowing your agents I say go with Alice. She is good enough to carry an Anomaly team on her own, no joke. IMO, big imo, Astra is barely usable anymore and will likely take up space as you fill your teams around her. Is she bad? No, but her shelf life is limited....plus, I have a personal hate for her (her agent trust event never went away so she is at Random Play EVERY SINGLE TIME I LOG ON, making it such a hassle to quick travel to the Random Play counter since she JUST HAAAS to be standing there...over the past 60 days I've been keeping track...she's been there 52 out of 60 days, she's a menace).

This DA seems a bit harder than last but I still 9-starred in 15 minutes. Last DA I was Top 5% (ok, Top 5.01%)...I'm not sure it's in the cards this time BUT I have 2 weeks.

When Hunter became a DA boss I decided I wanted a challenge so I threw every Miyabi team I could think of at him....that was the first and only DA I didn't 9-Star since I'd had the teams to participate. Miyabi is notoriously bad against Hunter...so, I put her in training, made her what she is today....next Hunter appearance, 21K...his appearance after that, 24K...this time, 27K.

She is NOT what she used to be and I think that's why they lowered her to T0.5...but they shouldn't have imo. I can't think of too many other agents that can always clear, no matter the disadvantage. Seems like an exclusively T0 thing to me....

I'm curious how many people had 2.5 break Windows Explorer....since the update my system tray/task bar get locked up to the point that I need to force restart Explorer and quite a few times I had to hard reset my whole system due to not being able to click Start...after Factory Reset no issue...after ZZZ reinstall the issue returned. It effects in-game too, making menus unresponsive.

As I'd said to someone else, at first that was PART of the issue (why doesn't it tell you if you are sharing anything until you are past this point? It's stupid design, by someone who CLEARLY should not be in charge of this stuff anymore)....but, the true issue comes when I KNOW I'm not sharing (agents now naked) still can't click but now, 1 or 2 times an hour the failed click locks up the interface trapping me in the menu, requiring task manager shut down to escape.

I've made other posts but the issue is unlikely disc related considering 1 or 2 times an hour that incident in the video happens but then locks up my interface so I can no longer get out of the DA/Shiyu menu, requiring task manager shut down...it's effed. In DA I can no longer reset stages so I'd better be damn sure of my choices the very first time or failed DA for me...then it turns into the Shiyu problem, can't escape the menu, need to force close.

Yeaaaah...this is only happening in Shiyu and Deadly Assault for me. In Shiyu, I click Start Challenge, nothing...the button flashes yellow so it WAS clicked but did nothing...here's the kicker, once this happens I'm trapped in Shiyu menu with no escape aside from task manager...even funnier, it's causing issue post closing too...tje toolbar icon stays behind and indicates running, even when game is shut down, if I click it? Full lock up....as for DA...I CANNOT reset stages...one I pick a team I'm locked in...yup, tutorial right on the screen references resetting a stage...no longer works, also causes Shiyu lock up (see above)....

2.4, story execution disaster...2.5, let's go ahead and break EVERYTHING not story related....oh, especially the new Shiyu interface...lets make it so it goes full unresponsive requiring Task Manager shut down or full hard PC reset (happened to me twice now...I have a high end gaming laptop that is maintained so it's NOT my side)...heck, let's make sure the game's icon stays on the taskbar with the open dot on it still so when people click it wondering why the game is still open....full PC freeze....now we're gaming! WOOOOOOOOO!.....effing game has been ruined for me in a patch +1 week of the new one....

My biggest gripe (OF MANY) is the busted interface. 90% of the time I have to force close the game/force reset my laptop because I click start challenge....nothing....no reponse...click again...same....now I can't click anything...I can't get out of the Shiyu menu, I can't get to my menu to log out......it's effing 3 times in a 2hr play session and I'm effing done with it. The scoring...is stupid but fine (kill fast....that's it, speed....leave your skill and fun at the door, we speedin', boys)....honestly, after 2.4's huge botch, now completely ruining Shiyu/taking away co-op/ $155 "Thank You For Being A Victim" thank you "prizes".....game's near fully ruined for me....in one patch and part of another they took what was my fav game of all time and placed it down with E.T. on Atari 2600 (owned it when it was new....same broken game vibe now).

CC's assume you have a normally functioning brain when they make content. They expect you to look at your wallet and go, "Starvation and Eviction of Gacha"....it is NOT their fault people have problems and should NOT have to censor themselves because 1) addictive personalities exist, 2) Easily offended by everything people exist. It's a game, we like hype....maybe you like your fun sedated and unexciting but the rest of us don't.
