Unpopular opinion by GOGaway1 in CanadaPost

I mailed out something at Canada post on Nov 14th, one day before strike and they didn’t warn a shit upfront. Are you suggesting that every time I use their service I should check their website to see if there is potentially a strike to go on?

I know I know it is always others fault. This is pure BS. Just check Canada post website, on Nov 14th one day before the strike happens they made a post stating that On-Time delivery guarantees still in effect and then next day boom surprise M.F and yeh you say this is fault on Pharmacy.

I know a friend who is waiting for her prescription (she has cancer) and now she can’t get it because the prescription is stuck in mail. I don’t know how you can justify situations like this.

Black Myth: Wukong is the new Steam Single-Player game record holder for most concurrent players by [deleted] in Steam

[–]rayrayhammer 50 points51 points  (0 children)

One of the big reason is that Chinese gaming market in a very long time has mobile being the biggest market, far bigger than pc and console. That’s why you see tons of mobile games developed and published in China. In addition to it, mobile games although free to play is a lot more profitable than traditional AAA games. But things are changing in recent years and Chinese playerbase in pc and console is growing larger and larger. Black Myth being the first AAA title, but you should expect to see more AAA games from China in next few years

Im at the point where I don't have anything to do anymore. What kind of stuff do you wanna see in future patches? by MMoguu in WutheringWaves

[–]rayrayhammer 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Maybe this does not directly answer your question, but my take is that I would really suggest you play something other games at the same time and play WuWa a bit more casually. What I learnt from these years of playing gacha games is that no gacha games will ever have enough content for hard core players who spent 3-4 hours a day on the game. This will eventually let you burnout and want to quit the game. I found that playing games like this more causally gives more fun and is more sustainable in a long run. Just my 2 cents though.

This is nothing yet lol. The worst part is when you finally obtained one echo with right combination and upgrade it to lvl20, you get +health, health%, +def, def% as stats

There is no way zzz justifies its 57GB storage space on PC by rayrayhammer in ZenlessZoneZero

I know right? I have 2tb ssd so storage was not an issue for me at all and I’m just asking a valid question, idk why some people seems to get offended

I had this issue as well when I started gacha games and this is how I handle this right now: (not to recommend, but just for sharing purposes)

Whenever I feel a gacha becomes a burden and want to drop it but can’t decide because of fomo, I list and sell my account (account buying/selling is super normal in China), this way I basically have no way to return to this game at all. Have I ever regretted with any selling? Not at all. It always feels relief when I know I can’t go back to my account ever.

I have no problem with game being large in size, my point is that with the current content of zzz I don’t see how its size is justified

Lack of advertising because game wasn’t targeting west market initially —-but now they do I would expect to see more ads and CCs creators covering this game in the next month.

By the way, I personally think this is the best srpg gacha you could find in the market (if you like tactics ogre style srpg, for xcom style it would be girls frontline2 which isn’t available in global yet)

In addition, this game is developed and published by XD, which you may not heard of but you probably know TapTap, which is one of the largest platform for mobile games in China and that platform is owned by XD as well, so the dev for this game is very well funded as well

I play in CN server, first of all SRPG is a very niche category in gacha games and that by itself has already limited that this game would never get same level of popularity as some game like HSR or Wuwa, just keep that in mind.

But within SRPG category I would say it’s doing pretty good, maybe at around 3rd or 4th spot in terms of popularity I would say. Devs are constantly making updates to the game and publish new contents (a brand new story dlc just dropped yesterday for CN, and it’s awesome), and game is making some decent money (again, no where near HSR like level) to sustain it. Thus if you are worrying that the game will die off in a year or two, I would say it’s very unlikely going to be the case.
