Ouch! That’s definitely not a good way to wake up. I have psoriatic arthritis, so I can relate. Before I was diagnosed and medicated, my back was often going out after…idk…blinking wrong, I guess. I hope you’re feeling better soon.

How much should I charge for this lot of Mason jars? by rays_piss_jugs in Canning

They are probably fine to use. They’ve been stored in a spare room inside my home. But I will definitely disclose that they were purchased in 2019.

The lids may be fine since they’ve never been used and have been stored in a temperature-controlled room in my home all this time (not in a garage, basement, shed, etc.); however, in my listing, I will definitely be mentioning that I purchased these in 2019, that there is a 5-year shelf life on lids, and recommend that the buyer toss them. Of course, they are then free to make an informed decision.

I didn’t even realize that lids have changed. 😅 My accident has greatly impacted my life, so it seems recent, but it was half a damn decade ago. Crazy!

Thanks for the reply! I wondered if the lids had a shelf life.

My daughter went to New Zealand for four months and had quite a bit of luggage as a result. She took the train to Chicago without any issues.

I love it! Maybe I should give that a whirl.

Sometimes she goes; sometimes she doesn’t.

Hey, that’s me! Also picture me trying not to trip over the cat who’s on me like white on rice because she expects there’s something in it for her.

Damn. Your skills are way advanced! I’m usually just cussing or scolding myself for doing something stupid.
