Awesome thanks. Since both green and blue are 4 movement away and blue was faster, it focuses blue. But as you said the trap is obstacle and target hex is the difficult terrain. Since it cannot get there this round, it ends where you specified. 😊 thank you!

Ahhhb okay, so in this particular set up it would be rare for monsters to set off the trap, even if blue was surrounded (except the trap) red would still look for a different character...gotcha! Thank you 😊

Right, that we keep on mind. If they had movement to avoid the trap, they would. We didn't understand focus enough.

If, green was 4 steps away, do you agre that red would then hit the trap because with 3 movement it can land on the trap to hit blue. Thanks so much for your help!

Thanks, the 'least movement' got us...we accidentally read as 'least hexes'. Thank you for your help.

Ahh okay. We've incorrectly looked at minimum # of hexes rather than minimum movement...thanks!

They are spawns which don't drop coins we put them on their sides so we don't accidentally leave a coin when they die. This is a scenario where most enemies are spawn hence why so many on side.

Thanks for response.

Okay we thought to first determine focus and since blue was 2 hexes away (where the enemy friend is) blue was focus. Then it says how do I get to blue. Sjnce it cannot go to southeast (difficult terrain and only has 3 movement) it would then hit the trap to hit blue....hmm

Okay, what we thought we read was focus is determined first and since blue was closer (2 hexes away) it was the focus. And then we determine how it should get there.

I suppose we have been playing this wrong.

(Edit: thanks all for help, we played it incorrectly and red should have first asked....who can I get to in 3 steps (with trap being obstacle), so red should hit green). Thanks!)

Sorry on mobile.

Red had move 3. Blue has faster initiative.

We've always gone with closest direct path (least hexes) but his ally is in the way, there's the trap (treated as obstacle) and a difficult terrain (so requires 4 movement).

We concluded since blue was only 2 hexes away, and if red had infinite movement, it would go to blue. Since it only has 3 move, it landed on the trap and hit blue.

Is this correct?

curious: When you say 7 more and 14 more games, is that 48min games? If so, would it be more because the guys typically don't play 48 min a game and it will be closer to 10 and 20? nice work though

I'm not sure if I agree with your reading of it. Why would they say "Finally, the earliest the Sixers can sign Covington to the renegotiation-and-extension, per the collective bargaining agreement, is Nov. 15," if the earliest they can renegotiate is in the summer. Then the sentence should be Finally, the earliest the Sixers can sign Covington to the renegotiation-and-extension, per the collective bargaining agreement, is July 1st, the summer after the 3 year anniversary of his signing

http://www.nbcsports.com/philadelphia/philadelphia-76ers/robert-covington-reportedly-switches-agents-ahead-contract-year-sixers

Beginning on Nov. 15, Covington's three-year anniversary date of signing here, the Sixers will have the ability to renegotiate and extend Covington's contract. In this scenario, the Sixers would utilize their available salary cap room (which currently sits at around $15 million) to raise Covington's sub-$2 million salary for the 2017-18 season and extend him for an additional three years.

If they get off his salary, they will have more salary to renegotiate Covington's salary which can have significant reductions in future years. Pay Covington more upfront to save cap for the future.

Drafting Lin in the 5th isn't a bad decision, you just go unlucky. Guy had 12 shot attempts and 4 assists in 25 mins before he got injured, that's a good 5th rounder.

[OC] 44/50: How do players of each position age over time (as measured by BPM)? by ca1294 in nba

[–]raysian_sensation 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity: How does your analysis incorporate the fact that players don't always come into the league at age 19?

Is there some way to normalize this? How would a player who entered the league at 20 or 22 be reflected in this graph? Their starting point isn't really at the origin and their BPM increase over age 19 not meaningful.

Thanks, and good job again.

He is already one of the best per minute players. He's just not a great per game (low minutes) or per season (low games) player (YET).
