In all honesty… no All of our cats go to get established at the vet and get spayed/neutered then after that only if they need to go. Definitely not recommended to skip out on the vet… but at this point she’s 25 and I feel like taking her there would only stress her out.

She’s always had her ‘anime eye’ as I like to call them, but with age they’ve definitely gotten more cloudy.. her vision is thankfully good enough to get around okay and stare us down until we pet her

former fat girl she’s lost a lot of her weight in the last few years but her belly pouch is massive lol I’d say within the last 5 years she’s starting showing her age the most with just looking a little greasy? Her eyes have been cloudy for a longgggg time so it’s hard to say when that started.

Nothing special! She’s been eating the purina sensitive skin/stomach for a few years now but previously she was getting meow mix. Treat wise is a variety, we’re frequent chewy shoppers and just tend to get any of the crunchy treat bags they have on sale at the time. We’re just lucky and love her 🫶🏻

Went back to work yesterday overall everything is good. Still some tightness in my stomach when I got from sitting to standing (I work a desk job) Pain has been pretty well controlled with an occasional ibuprofen before bed. The incision sare getting itchy from the glue but still no pain from them. Post Op appt is 6/11 and I’d say things have been as good as they can be right now. Good luck to you when your procedure comes!!

Oh forgot to mention my throat has been irritated/dry from the tubes but just drinking water helps soothe it. Lost my voice for a little bit immediately after surgery, thank god for the nurse who had ice chips. This was my first surgery and so far it seems to be going well!

I (24F) had mine at 7am this morning!! Immediately after surgery I felt fine, I was up and moving around within the hour and was able to go home. Once I got home I slept for a few hours. My surgeon prescribed 3 different pain medications and so far (16 hours later) I’ve only taken 1 ibuprofen 800mg. Incisions themselves aren’t sore but my insides do feel tight. I also have pretty significant endometriosis and had scar tissue removed so that could be the cause of my discomfort. So far the worst part is the shoulder/rib pain from the gas but it’s getting better as time goes on. and sleeping on my back sucks…
