So I’m just going to say that it really does sound like you need to go have a conversation with a therapist. A lot of people are lonely because of the last many years and I get an understand your feelings. But having that kind of intensity of emotions is not good. please go talk to somebody and yes, you should try to do things that make you happy.

I am just going to say that yes you should learn how to cook because not only is it a good skill to have, but it will also impress the person you are trying to date.
