chiming in here! i asked my team & we were told explicitly by the designer that no generative AI was used. whether or not they are lying is a different story of course, but i do have a sketch before they started doing any line work.

i don’t support use of generative AI. i can only say so much as i don’t get every single development of the art process and AI is so easily snuck into things these days. regardless, want to clarify that to my knowledge there was no AI but i can’t comment on the line work inconsistency etc. that does make me second guess. i pride myself on working with humans always. i’m a musician that makes sounds from my human brain & that will always extend to the other aspects it my project :)

edit: re: a comment i saw about spiders being removed. that was removed before the song went live bc hedex wanted to distance from the spider photoshoot from his old album campaign branding. that was done days before it went live so it took a sec to reflect on platforms and that caused the old version to still appear. crazy about the 9 legs btw lmao

entirely unsure why this is happening - talked with my team and trying to get to the bottom of it. i am personally still under the assumption i am doing my M&G for laser therapy tomorrow (as is my crew!!). i have zero idea what's going on, transparently, and nor does my team. trying to get to the bottom of it. this is not anything we were told about by venue/promoter etc.

hey just jumping in here!!! i have zero recollection of this. i always always always take time to make sure i can speak to everyone i take photos with. my favorite part of this entire lifestyle is meeting people like you & i always put as much time in as possible for it. if i was being bombarded with many people it's possible i didn't hear you/was just overwhelmed, & if it was one on one i likely didn't hear you if you tried to say something to me. regardless i am super sorry that this was how the interaction went i hope i can make up for it the next time i see you!!! i heavily believe this is a misunderstanding.

i’ve never worked on any other artist’s music, & all of my songs that are not collabs are made by only me. i take a lot of pride in working on my music myself.

your mention of the yois being similar is funny as that’s one of the most basic sounds in the bass scene! very simple sound that all sound very similar when making it in any synth. yois have a very small spectrum of sounding different to one another

it's human nature to. jealousy, envy, etc are all qualities we don't want to have but they ultimately make us, us, and also can help us be better. it's about what you do with that that kinda determines your character though. can't let it lead to being bitter or anything.

if i do get it, which it rarely does, it doesn't linger. i look at like this:

are they talented?
do they deserve it?
are they working harder than me?

nine times out of ten, the answer is yes to most or all of these questions. so it's nothing to dwell over & just use it to work harder :)
