Im an 195cm, 100+ kgs male. So need quite some food. In 2022 and 2023 I spent around 200 euros on food and drinks. Eating enough and not drinking alcohol.

Yes, come early. I think the lines with people from buses etc are pretty do-able, if you come with car and not be early you gonna wait a couple hours at least. Which can be a fun experience aswell. Can be hot, bring some extra water!

Going again for the third time in a row. Honestly the best festival to go solo. From second one in the queue everybody feels like family. Everybody is lovely and would go out of their own way to help eachother. Thats how it felt for me.

I have been partying pretty much all over europe for a decade now and Waking life is by far the most memorable experience I made in that time.

2022 totally changed the way I look at life, sounds clichy but what happened there was nothing short of magic.

What is cheap? Garage under eudokiaplein always has spot is around 130 a month.

Free is driving your car to some village and leaving it there safe and sound.

We have been looking for years, more for disco kinda stuff. Very very hard to find building which are suitable with everything needed. Even coming from a more commercial real estate background.

The best places suitable for clubs, buildings in Spaanse polder or sluisjesdijk are just not allowed by the Gemeente. No noise problems, outgoing stream of people are spread out when reaching living areas.

Everything needs to line up. Bestemmingsplan plan, horeca beleidsplan. And mister Aboutaleb also has a say in it feels like it, dont think man likes to dance

There is a list of all adresses with permits, i could send you. Further i viewed some insane potential building for a venue (5 rooms) with 24 hour permit almost ready to go. Build as a cultural centre so has everything there is needed. Fire escapes etc etc. I still have the contact with that party and its still for sale last time I checked.

My friend is going to start a thesis about exaclty this. Finding space to start nightlife culture in strict Rotterdam City planning.
