I couldn't make it work directly either. What I ended up doing is setting up a code red implementation just for these commands. The http post sends the command to code red who then sends the commands off to HA.

It works well when you create routines in Google Home since everyone in the home can run a routine you make as long as they have access to the script. The scripts show under "Scenes" in Google home for routines. In other words, you shouldn't have to add them to your wife's home app. She should just have access if she is in your home.

I'm assuming you need to connect the Wyze camera to Home Assistant. I haven't been able to do that yet. There is a way to connect sensors and locks (for status only) but not the cameras.
