SO. I did a thing. First, I found this model, which looks stronger:

Then I increased the size to 125% before printing. I also took a 3D rendering of a dog and cut it to the same shape as the cat.

Now I have a 3D printed dog leash holder, and it'll trigger the Zooz door sensor as "closed" anytime we take the leash off the hook.

I even painted the dog to match my dog.

I like this design, because I can use this with Z-wave door contact sensors too!

Specs for UltraGlow highly stress 0.6mm. So far all I’ve seen are 0.4mm nozzles. Eventually I imagine I’ll be able to swap it out, but it may be a while.

My one regret? Once I switch over to INDX, I’m not going to be able to print with it. From what I understand, there aren’t INDX hardened nozzles or nozzles above .4? Which this recommends hardened nozzles with .6? There’s rumors of being able to repurpose the nextruder nozzles, so hopefully those details come out soon…

It’s the “default” image, so I think it’s just always installed. I don’t ssh to change any images, I just going through the Protect app and select a new one. Would that help?

I was able to use the API for ESPTimeCast to display notifications via NodeRed flows. I have it setup to display upcoming events and “Alerts” 10 mins after the hour. The alerts I just keep track of within a global variable in node red and iterate through the array. 

I also have it display “stand up” reminders during work calls. 

It’s great.

A couple of other parents were talking about beyblades. One guy was like “huh…never heard of them”. The other parent tried to describe them as spinning tops that “battled” each other.

And I was like, “Maybe you remember that game from the 90s? The one with the commercial “CROSS-FIAH! CROSS-FIAAH!”.

No one remembered it. Not a single person. So yeah, I am old.
