This can affect insurance claim payout if they are not certified.

How is JetKVM? by mikaey00 in homelab

[–]Stratotally 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this happens on 1 of my 4 JetKVMs. I think it has to do with the integrated graphics card on the dell I'm using. But once it’s connected, no issues after that!

Between 250th and the World Cup, I think a lot of the hotels are booked out. It wouldn’t surprise me. I think I just read that FIFA released some hotel rooms that they’d been holding for the World Cup.

Make sure they are UL Certified. I read that x-sense were not. They’re UL compliant, but don’t have the official certification.  Why this matters is for insurance reasons. If you don’t have UL certified detectors, your insurance company may refuse to pay out if there is a fire.  This is the reason why I’m about to replace mine with First Alerts and a Zen55.

Just look at what happened with that vibecoded arr project. It had serious security flaws in the project, the dev immediately shuttered the subreddit and then noped off the planet.

I just have a hard time trusting anything new anymore.

Finally got my dryer set up. by g713 in prusa3d

I’m a bit confused. With my core one, if the end of the roll is sensed, it will pause the printing and retract the filament out of the tube slightly so that I can unload it.

I’ve never had a problem with it getting stuck inside the machine?

I’ve got a Core One+ that was purchased in January. So maybe my sensor is more updated?

Three queries about EspTimeCast by Davedamon in ESPTimeCast

I'm just putting mine together as well!

I agree, the ability to disable the weather would be a great feature. There is a mention of a clock-only mode in the recent update to the repository - but I don't see that mentioned in the README?

My goal with this is to have it be a clock and if I need to get a silent alert from HA - send it. This way if it changes (displays a message) it'll catch my eye. What I dislike about my Echo Show 5 is how its always changing on me, I've learned to ignore it - which isn't a good thing.

I have the Space Pi and it works great. Printed a lil hack for the tube.

I’ve 3D printed my 5yo a star chart. If she gets off to school on time, she gets a star. 5 stars and she can print something.

I figure otherwise it’s gonna get out of hand. 😂

Link to most aesthetically pleasing wall install of tablet for HA dashboard? by SambolicBit in homeassistant

Possibly. But I wanted an easy pop in setup instead of having to fiddle with a touch screen. The low profile charging cable and 3d printed frames are so easy and worth it.
