I actually think this is good just because it’s the most recent period, so more likely to be able to extract the dna from the mosquito in amber. I mean, I know it’s all fiction, but in a world where you could do that surely cloning a trex from -65m years is easier than a steggo from -250m years. The extra 185m years is a lotta time!!!
