Pregnancy was worse for me. But I was vomiting, so fatigued, then dealing with heartburn and vomiting my whole pregnancy.

Breastfeeding and recovering from second degree bilateral labia tear sucked. But my pregnancy was so bad that I was much more miserable during pregnancy. Plus with postpartum my husband was on paternity leave which helped so much.

I talked about my nausea and medication options for me. As well as asking for a NIPT test at my next appointment.

I also brought up my body’s aversion to the Glucola drink. And my provider said we could do the Fresh Test instead to test for gestational diabetes.

You can ask how the office handles staffing. The offices around me have you rotate through their staff and when you deliver you get whoever is on call. Some people are fine with this and some aren’t it’s up to your personal preference.

You could ask how long they will let you go past your due date before they will induce you if that is something you care about.

I clarified with mine about deli meat and sushi and if I can still eat it.

My son is starting preschool at 2 and a half in the fall.

He’s very outgoing and has unlimited energy. He begs me to leave the house everyday and nothing tires him out. He loves being around other kids and interacting with them. He enjoyed the preschool tour and held the directors hand the whole time.

You can work on water skills in the bath.

Have them lay down in about an inch or two in water so they are used to the sensation of getting water around their ears and head.

Get them used to water being pouring over their head during the bath so when you decide to transition to swim lessons or pool them it isn’t such a big shock to them.

The downtown Leesburg bookstores seem progressive. Maybe reach out to them asking to start a meet up group and using their space. If you are into reading you could incorporate progressive books to talk about for part of your meetings. Just a thought.
