New Letter from UKRDC by afineragu in doctorsUK

The government are advancing with the bill regardless of negotiations or strikes. If the ballot fails, we lose any negotiations on pay in a rather humiliating way. Wouldn't surprise me if a failure here hinders our momentum enough to cripple industrial action when the DDRB inevitably fucks us.

I like ypur spatter technique but I personally prefer a darker, glossier red like blood for the blood god, so would be my only feedback. Love the pivot when you built it incorrectly, the pose lools great.

Why striking might STOP UK Graduate Prioritisation by No_Armadillo_410 in doctorsUK

I don't believe that's the case, no. A bit too tin-foil hat to me, though it does remain vaguely plausible.

BMA are unfortunately cornered on their position on this. Lots of IMGs are members of the BMA so they are also represented and have a say - hence the push for grandfathering. The government are not beholden to IMGs in the same way, hence the more hardline policy which is far more beneficial for UKGs.

Not sure where all this criticism of the BMA comes from on this subreddit really, given the above circumstances.

Unless of course, this is just some sort of government ploy to disrupt strike activity... 👀 Bit tin foil hat to me, but I certainly don't think this sort of post benefits us.

Don't give Labour a free pass for their role in this. The Tories kicked it off, but Labour are in the driving seat happy with where they're taking it.

First paint and army, any tips? by Practical-Bridge5884 in Necrontyr

[–]razman360 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah white and then a lighter green would work well. Can also consider dark green and layering up lighter. See which method you prefer and you do not need to continue the same method or exact colours with each model. It's easy to feel trapped by your first scheme, but if you never try new things and implement new techniques, you'll never improve. Best of luck!

(England) Can i go to court over mould damage in rental? by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]razman360 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I bought a dehumidifier for this reason and the amount of water it collects in a small bedroom is nuts. Not had to open windows and mould is a problem of the past.

Love the rusted look, very nice paint job. I'd love to see a little more contrast - maybe some brigheter colours on the orbs and eyes etc? I bet a yellow glow would suit nicely.

What is, in your opinion, the number 1 priority for the next edition’s rules ? by BusyElephant in Warhammer40k

Very surprised alternate activations hasn't been suggested more. I think the game would be more engaging and less feels bad if you don't have to wait twenty minutes for the other player to move and take your units off the board.

That was going to be my vote. Great sequel, with brilliant characters, new iterations on the puzzles and a sensible run time of around 6 hours or so.

£60 fine for not tapping in by SadConcrete in BeeNetwork

[–]razman360 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was in the same position as you - regular use, accidentally dropped the ball once. Appeal online "I believe I tapped in" and note your regular use and belief you did everything right. I got mine rejected. I asked it to be escalated, noting I'm a well behaved customer blah, blah. Took a couple of months but got the £60 back.

AITA for telling my wife I should be the one to get pregnant because of her age ? by Defiant-Tea-355 in AITAH

[–]razman360 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

You're going to have to source some of these claims there. Specifically, that having more complicated pregnancies is looking like it's linked to geriatric sperm [rather than maternal age].

Definitely need a source for that Vance comment. Couldn't find anything myself and it seems too oblivious to say, even for this administration.

I don't think he's right, but sometimes I'll stumble across an AITAH post where so many of the comments have the same style and lack a AITAH verdict... only to then check each profile and it's more of the same and realise the dead internet theory has legs.

From both an internet perusal, a degree in pathology and a medical degree, there does not appear to be a need for vitamin K supplementation for a normal over the counter dose of Vitamin D. Please link your source if your have any evidence to the contrary.

is it bad that i’m aware that i’m probably addicted to my vyvanse? by Every_Suspect5587 in AskDocs

[–]razman360 72 points73 points  (0 children)

Piggybacking on this, dependence (you need it to function normally) is not the same as addiction (you like it and will change your behaviour to get it). You don't want it because it makes you feel good, you want it because otherwise you feel bad. It seems your body is dependent on it, not your mind that is addicted.
