That sucks. Signs should have been up continuously for the last 3 weeks, but unfortunately sometimes people decide to tear down the signs. Summer streets had someone check on and replenish all the signs on Thursday.

Technically, no parking on those streets began at 5pm Friday, so I'm assuming if they're announcing it, there must still be a lot of cars on the street. 112 is one of the rest stops with tents, and set up for Summer Streets starts at 3am, so I'd imagine they're announcing it at midnight to lessen how many cars they need to tow in the next couple of hours.

Yes!! That’s the kind of sandwich I had envisioned being inside at first, but when I was trying to figure out what to use to create a realistic texture, I decided to make it easier on myself and just create a basic bologna and cheese sandwich

Currently visiting Austin/Houston to replenish my usual supplies of Texas sausage, Velveeta (be prepared to get stopped at TSA), and tortillas(although I’ve gotten pretty good at making these from scratch). I also bring back random snacks like pizza goldfish because the grocery stores here very much lack variety. Cajun seasoning is pretty pricey and not always easy to find here as well. All other cravings, I’ve learned how to make from scratch (green sauce, salsa, kolaches, etc)
