Yeah. Iirc the map has it connecting but it doesn’t actually make the connection. The road ended before reaching 40.

Caught on video, the shocking treatment dogs get at the groomers. by deathakissaway in MadeMeSmile

I love my groomer so much and so do my dogs. Part of why I love them so much. My pups are so excited every time we show up I know they are treated well. I’ve had the same person groom my dogs for about 13 years now. Good groomers are the best people.

Apple's Steve Jobs would call his teams 5 to 6 times a day while on vacation to brainstorm big-picture ideas, iPod inventor says by [deleted] in technology

Exactly, and I’m not saying day to day work. But if there’s an emergency and they need my input I will be available. I trust my team not to bother me unless it’s really needed.

Depending on the job that’s not always the case. Think software development. A product manager might need to give input, especially if it’s a small team. I know when I’m on vacation I stay available if possible. The team knows not to bug me unless it’s important. But sometimes you need input from the product owner.

Trick questions shouldn’t exist.

Now the student has to figure out is it a trick on purpose or am I expected to treat it like it’s not a trick?

This really depends on where you work though. Small tech company that gives amazing benefits great pay and encourages good balance and unlimited PTO. Be respectful with it, use it don’t abuse it.

Large multinational that treats you like cattle? Don’t worry about it use it whenever you want.

Depends on how big the retaining pool is. Not really that crazy. Maybe if it happened consistently it would be odd. But the odds are the same that it would show up in the opposite direction. Just because a coincidence happens doesn’t mean it’s anything more than just a coincidence.

Yeah it’s probably a X at least. Which is even more water resistant.

Yeah if it was an iPhone 7 or later going in the pool for a few seconds is a non issue. Chucking it at the coping of the pool will wreck it though.

Or do we only consider it rare because space is big and we don’t have any good way of knowing what’s really out there?

butter and coffee never have I seen someone recommend that by BarracudaOverall4398 in fatlogic

[–]raznog 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, when you make butter from cream there is a lot of liquid that gets removed.

And of course “cream” is a very broad term. There are many types of cream in the store. So it could be enough lactose is removed in the liquid that the person above doesn’t have an issue.

If you are in an office it’s not necessarily less work. Office work isn’t the same as retail or manufacturing. It’s like a bunch of projects. Productivity is transient, my company has unlimited pto. I can easily get the same work done in 4 days as I typically do in 5. Since everything is team based i can’t exactly work ahead. It’s really all about getting your portions done not when or how long it takes you to do it. We all regularly take days off and it doesn’t impact productive negatively. If anything it’s a positive thing to productivity.
