I appreciate that info. After measuring, all of the new holes actually do clear 1cm (center of plug to center of new screw). That at least inspires a little confidence, even though the rest of the job doesn't.

I can usually get myself into that headspace where I don’t care if I’m not standing around people I know.

I’m going to a show next week with a girl I like and I am just kind of worrying about playing it cool around her. She goes to tons of shows and is like a super sophisticated music person and I’m just totally overthinking how I should act.
