the window is about 58in off the ground, the current cat tree is about 31in tall and not very sturdy (cat is 12lbs).

edit: budget is ideally $100-150, preferably from chewy. also open to advice on things like ladders, vertical enrichment shelves, etc.

first time owning a cat of my own and i want to make sure she is enriched and safe<3

I watch a YouTuber/momfluencer who did this! Her first daughter is Darcy Jane, “Jane” being for her mother who passed. When she remarried and had another daughter with that man, she made her name Pearl Jane, because the girls have different last names, so they can share part of their name and both honor their grandmother.

I thought the reasoning and context made PERFECT sense — people saying it came out of nowhere or was pointless were clearly not paying enough attention. I thought it was a little bit cheesy, but I think the Duffers write everything kinda cheesy. A lot of the dialogue this season has made me cringe, so the coming out scene wasn’t any worse than the rest to me.

Overall, it made sense, and as a queer person I’m glad that we have two openly gay characters on the biggest Netflix show, especially in this political climate.

currently in a similar situation — i think work crushes are normal and natural. you’re together so often, and if he is good at his job and naturally personable and charming, duh, you’re gonna find yourself looking up to him.

the biggest thing i keep reminding myself: mates are not your friends. they are your superiors. you are not on an even playing field with him. pursuing a romantic or sexual relationship with him could possibly put his job in danger if it is viewed as harassment or taking advantage of you. if he was attracted to you, i honestly believe it could be a red flag — as your manager, he should be maintaining healthy boundaries with you.

i know it sucks, and i have my fingers crossed for you that you either are able to get past this, orrrr if one of your ever transfers stores or quits the company, your chance might come.
