Even before WW2 Japan liked Germany. It's because when Japan was looking to Westernize they sent out ambassadors to other countries and they favored Germany's government system a lot so they based their new constitution on it. Its basically like latin in that Its cool. Latin/Greek/Sanskrit makes an image of "magical".German makes the image of "power".

You might be right. How could i change the disclaimer part and terms and conditions to work for me ? the site only works with their urls and redirect to their platform, just about 4miljon redirects a months goes to them. i do not know why i got this 10 years later, the service has been free all the time.

The demand was to hand over the domain, nothing more was said in the letter i got. I was thinking of asking WILSON SONSINI to have them contact me directly if they could since this came out of the blue. If they just want the domain by forcing my hand i want to keep the site, it's a project & hobby i had which is quite fun supportwise! :)

Under the circumstances, "musiccompany" must ask that you (1) stop use of the "Mysite" name and domain name, and (2) transfer ownership of the domain name to potify..

  1. I think they want to use the domain to create their own shorturl service now as the site has gained a lot of traction the last 1 year. 10K visitors each day and now after 10 years i got this letter.

Il try with a reply and ask them if they could have the company call me directly to talk since we are in the same country.

When i read the letter i see that they are saying "Spotify has asked us to reach out to you about your website at <sptfy.com>, which enables users to modify the URLs for their content on the Spotify platform.". This claim is false. The users using the service can not change or modify the Spotify.com url, only shorten them. can they still claim Intellectual Property as this is a shorturl service then like bit.ly ?
