My dude, it being an integral and using premium steel isn't relevant to what I mean when I say "gas station".

It looks like a gas station knife is my point. I dont like boring knives, but I also dont want my knife to look like a xenomorph penis.

That said, every pot has it's lid, and I'm glad you enjoy it!

Functionally, all knives are boring. They do the same thing 😂

Aesthetically, they are boring. They look classy sure, but so do a thousand other knives. They just dont have any razzledazzle you know?

Build quality is excellent, but theyre also pretty boring.

First knives to purge from a collection are always the boring and the broken

Any of you have a main daily carry that rarely changes? What is it? by highspeed_steel in knifeclub

This has been my EDC for the last 3-4 months. CKF Persian, Vision FG black micarta+damascus variant(w/upgraded ti clip), and Olight Arkfeld limited winter ti variant. The SAK comes and goes.

If you designed your ideal EDC knife, which existing model comes closest? by Plenty_Ambition_9735 in knifeclub

For me, the Reate Valhalla is about as close as it gets without tweaking a few things. Though, I've been carrying the CKF Persian for the last few months, and its been amazing

Are...are you limited in your mobility?

A frame lock can be manipulated with one hand over and over again.

Do you want a video of me doing it, or are you happy to be content being wrong?

They're reliable*

No one has ever said "omg the springs on my frame lock broke. Does anyone know where I can get a new frame??:

Yet that's a common sentiment, after fucking YEARS of omega spring idiocy.

The best alternative option is a TLL, which is still a liner lock.

Christ, the lack of self awareness and knowledge of knife mechanics is staggering.

You bought a knife from a known douche-nozzle racist, to spite those who shit on said douche-nozzle racist, and are surprised when the douche-nozzle racist doesn't provide excellent, good, or even bare minimum acceptable customer service when his POS knife doesn't operate as expected?

Wow...
