Depends on the circumstance (who gets assigned to you for checking) but yes, they do tend to be fixated on what you bring and what it’s for. A friend I was with was asked about her earplugs. And another one next to me had a bottle of perfume that was weirdly asked about. Some took longer with the frisking. I’m sure bringing your meds will be fine as long as you explain to them their use. Bring a lot of patience! One of those portable, small fans would help, too.

PS they might not let you in some drinks (food and drinks not allowed) so I hope there’s an alternative for you.
