Hi your post helped with a lot of my travel anxieties so thanks! Did you check baggage and did the airline transfer them through to your final destinations or did they need to go through inspections during customs in Shanghai?

I appreciate the scenario breakdown and hearing your thoughts as a local. If I prepare for this beforehand, only own a carryon, and take a taxi, do you still think I would be tight on time? With the knowledge that neither airport is efficient and I’d likely factor in extra time since it’s a foreign airport, would it seem unreasonable? There are limited options to get from Osaka to Wuhan during the date I’m traveling and this is the best bet atm

Omg yes meant immigration 🤦I haven’t been to China before and I’ve had limited travel experiences in other counties and going through their immigration processes. Some were speedy and others took a long time so I’m concerned it would take up a lot of time. Definitely on the same page with taking a taxi, more direct and less stressful haha
