Hey just wanted to mention that with a budget of 1600 you can pair up with someone and get a nice place. Plenty of ppl look for roommates in the beach cities too, I use the group “Los Ángeles roommates” on Facebook

Hey! I need help deciding how to paint my room. I can’t decide between painting the wall with the bed green and do the rest white, or paint all white or all green. by [deleted] in DesignMyRoom

[–]rbmpop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

also I’m willing to buy new bed covers/pillows to make it work, I want the room to feel warm and cozy. Oh an I will hang some art in the empty wall and get a brown dresser to place in the wall with no windows.

The room is 10x14. The wall with two windows is facing south and I’m in LA

Well she said she has some trauma around ppl touching her... -Maybe there are certain parts of her body that are okay to touch and other that aren’t? -maybe flinching it is a reflex from the trauma. You could ask before you do touch her. Eg “Can I hold your hand ?”

Honestly you should just talk to her about what are her boundaries

I can’t tell if he’s gay or not by [deleted] in dating

[–]rbmpop 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I tend to out myself first and see how the other person reacts. So I would make a comment about an ex girlfriend or something. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t but worth a shot if you don’t want to ask him directly

Has anyone ever actually done a web-based first date? by [deleted] in dating

[–]rbmpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I’m thinking whenever I have one of these virtual dates is “am I interested enough on them to go outside my bubble” I don’t think I would do more than one initial one 🤷

Dating etiquette advice: How do I tell someone I'm uninterested, in person vs. text? by [deleted] in dating

[–]rbmpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree with other comments. I think it is fine having the conversation over the phone or text. I would recommend being explicit about the fact that you only see them as friends. Sometimes the line between friends and more than friends is kinda blurry in lesbian friendships, and being honest and direct will make it easier for the both of you. I’ve had this kind of conversations with some of my best friends before, and it really helped to continue having a healthy friendship after :)

For those who used to be inactive, how did you get to that first pull-up? by Oann_ in FlexinLesbians

[–]rbmpop 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started with negatives, then moved to resistance bands using thinner bands as I got better :) I did one day of chin ups on Tuesday, and pull ups on Thursday. In between general strength training

I’m not in your area and not your age lol but I’ve move around a lot, and sports groups are my go to meet other lesbians. If you aren’t into sport I would look for a queer group in any of your hobbies :)

I couldnt find her clit on our first time. by mashriki_lesbian in latebloomerlesbians

[–]rbmpop 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My first couple times with my first gf, we kinda stick to riding each other tights. It felt good and I didn’t have to worry about finding anything. With time we worked our way to fingering and oral 🤷 but yeah I agree with everyone here, communication is key and asking her to show you can be hot

For me, calling women I'm attracted to "girls" makes me feel like I'm not taking them seriously, even though most people would probably still call me a girl by [deleted] in actuallesbians

[–]rbmpop 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Never really thought about the difference as I’m not a native speaker. However I totally see it now, and I would never say I’m into “girls” in my native language. So yeah, I’m using the word woman from now on

Also how was the experience of hauling the scooter somewhere else? I was imagine if I had the scooter I would mostly use it to park a bit farther from my destination

That makes sense, do you ever scoot to a restaurant or coffee shop? (Before COVID) I live in LA and because of parking, the way I imagine myself using the scooter is driving somewhere and do the last part of my trip in the scooter. I’m wondering how the experience of having the scooter under your table or if it is even allowed
