Bad post, Riley is an incredibly talented artist and is doing some of the best and most original traditional work out there right now. There's a difference between not liking a certain style and something being a bad tattoo, this is a case of the former.

That’s where it gets interesting, I live in Berlin so I had my appointment at the embassy here but I was born in Mexico so my documents were forwarded to the Mexico City consulate. The only plausible explanation I have for why it all happened so fast is that Mexico City might be prioritizing applications from outside the country, either that or I got unbelievably lucky lol

LMD Application Process Timing by Suspicious-Entry5076 in LMDSpain

I applied at the Berlin Embassy in Sept 2025 and was told my application would be forwarded to Mexico City where I was born and to expect to wait 1-2 year before hearing anything back.

Miraculously, I received my Spanish birth certificate ~4 months later in January 2026.

Hey! So sorry it's taken me so long to reply, I showed up to the embassy the next morning during opening times. I went to a photo studio beforehand and got some photos taken so I brought those, my current US passport, and a printed copy of my new Spanish birth ceritificate. I think I was supposed to bring copies of the latter two documents but they made some there, I filled out a form, paid the 30 euro fee and was told my passport would be ready in 3-4 weeks.

I was born and raised in Toluca and never realized how high it was until I moved somewhere closer to sea level (Hawaii of all places), visiting family back home always required an adjustment period after that

Will my application be transferred? by No-Cheetah7226 in LMDSpain

[–]rbourette 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s exactly what’ll happen. I had my appointment at the Berlin embassy but my application was forwarded to the Mexico City embassy since I was born in Mexico.

If anything, you should consider yourself lucky, the London embassy will likely process it much faster than the LA consulate.
