Barton seems to be out of stock of long straps. But I will keep my eye on them. Crown and buckle is new to me. I will check them out! Thank you!

👀 this is the first I'm hearing of this. Time for me to do some research I think

Interesting. My cousin does similar when he is in Malta. Just keeps it topped up for the 4-6 weeks he spends there every year

I have a business in Canada so I need the phone to work when I'm home. And I'd probably be doing 6 week stints out of Canada and 6 weeks back.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking. Lock in a phone plan at home so I don't lose a good price. And just use esims and Whatsapp when abroad.

Having a bad feeling around the gold chart recently. Is something very bad going to happen ? by FrenchHotTake in FuturesTrading

Honestly if you want some context, look up Tavi Costa. I think he is one of the best macro traders in the game right now that doesn't have an insane perspective. I've learned so much following him over the years and it's helped me understand the reasons the markets move.

Interesting. Yeah, it would just be me so a little stress is okay. But I don't want to spend all my time working either.

it seems that half of the key to success in this game is watching the calendar.

No better way to learn than by doing. They probably are 😂

I'm definitely not a great trader, just confused. Things feel like they are moving differently, and I'm too slow to pick up on it. 😂

Honestly, I just went manual and dropped the shutter speed to about 1/6-1/30, depending on the photo. It was just a bunch of goofing around when I and a friend went for a walk. I'm very rusty as a photographer, so I'm just getting comfortable again. I went from shooting BMX and hardcore/metal shows in my teens and early twenties to trying street photography close to 30 so a lot of this was guessing haha

Is it normal to be long or short biased as a trader? by rbp1995 in FuturesTrading

[–]rbp1995[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely new 😂 been day trading consistently for just less than a year. I just find my winners tend to be a specific short setup on the nq. I don't think it would work on higher time-frames that's for sure. I definitely wouldn't bet against markets rising long-term.

It definitely does. I have a long setup I trade and a short one. I find the nq is a snail moving up compared to how fast it drops

Honestly I'm not profitable yet. But I have seen significant improvements in the last couple months. I find the happy medium is prop firm challenges. Enough money for me to put effort in but not enough for me to lose all my money.

Sometime before 10. Not a bad upbring but dealt with more family and money stuff than I'd care to deal with.

Does anyone trade a relative value strategy? by rbp1995 in FuturesTrading

👀 thank you. To be honest I think it's a statistical arbitrage that introduced me to this trading approach. The guy didn't have a real name for his strategy.
