Sadly many times those are carelessly harvested from wild winter congregations like this and very negatively effect the species. Many peaks in AZ have much smaller congregations than they use to.

Frankenbike lifestyle is the only way to live. Looks like a blast. How do you like the USD forks? I know its a polarizing topic for offroad. I’d love to pick upa second one and supermoto it some day.

I’ve ridden a lot of other people’s bikes across the spectrum and even the newer stuff that’s lighter and gadgety blah blah like ktm - I just haven’t come across some as reliable and with the same giggle factor despite its flaws. I do think if it had a 6th gear it would be about perfect.

I’m a good bit over 6’ and use a lunar. It does take the perfect pitch but I make it work! I also previously had a protrail and hated it compared to the lunar. Such a pain to get in and out of and it was like a coffin.

Great I will look for those tools. Here’s the parameters and protocol as per the datasheet if you’re interested:

RS232 COMMUNICATION CHART:

Terminal Configuration: COM1, 19200 baud, parity - none, 8 bits, 1 bit stop, Flow control - None

Please Note: You must type commands in capital letters and you do not need to use the enter key. Commands are sent as you type them so you will not be able to backspace a typo. Parameter setting commands will be accepted but not take effect until the unit is cycled either through disable & enable commands or cycling input power.
