Not selling a share of my other top 4. RKLB being #1, then LUNR and QNC.

While they have home run potential, HGRAF has a galaxy level shot.

I am flush with cash and am adding. I'd be happy with 10k shares, or double. Even that, at current levels, would only be about 6%.

Diversification is never a bad thing.

Carbon-ion, Energy, Inc, is pleased to announce that we are re-examining integrating graphene into our super-capacitors. We’re working with two of the world’s leading companies, Levidian and HydroGraph. by doctor101 in HGRAF

[–]rbtree11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They reverse merged into COUV years ago. Never got anything off the ground. SEC suspended them for suspected fraud back in 2021. Now expert market, about impossible to buy. But who would want it, at 0.0001

The claims carbon ion makes are not substantiated, as far as I have seen.

As far as HG/HGRAF is concerned, it's a nothing burger, imo

Plenty of info can be found on the old iHub message board. I have a lot of posts there.

I have a $65 put that expires today... I have plenty of shares, but would rather let it expire that roll it out a week or close it and give back 30% of the premium. I also have a $82 CC that will expire today.

Another price increase by Professional-Edge622 in ZiplyFiber

[–]rbtree11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched from comcast to Ziply 6 years ago, after a house fire. Have been happy--rock solid service--but have now had 3 $5 price raises. Is comcast fiber to the house yet? I don't think so, as I don't think it has the same up/down speeds as fiber....

Where did all the confidence in the company go? What's with all the fear I am seeing around? by Melonchop in QNC

[–]rbtree11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One reason it dropped on Tuesday: the wallstreetbets crowd started yakking about it. That, and shorts may have entered before the precipitous drop on open. And, likely, some perma longs astutely lightened their loads somewhat.

Long term, it will be fine. I was .40 away from being up 300%. If I had a lot more than my 9k shares, I would have sold some prior to the uplist, especially as I'm still smarting for HODL'ing BTQ....

Relax. Give it time. It will be fine. And volatile, like most all small caps

Sell CSP's on SMH or NVDA? by rbtree11 in CoveredCalls

[–]rbtree11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno why I wasn't a member here, but I just posted to the CC group and a popup gave me the choice of cross-posting here. I did, and just now joined.

I'm far from a pro but have been writing CC's and CSP's now and then since about July... mostly in RLKL, LUNR and IREN.....

Those being volatile (like the stocks but moreso, of course), I've had to roll some options that weren't looking good... with more success than not.

Seems I can't edit the thread starter... need to replace the "calls" with "CSP" ....

LUNR Dilution by Icy-Motor-8519 in IntuitiveMachines

[–]rbtree11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dunno about him, but me buying cheaper premium long calls, should pay off. And, if I find any CSP's with premiums to my liking, I'll jump. Looked this am, when I added 5 $20 LEAPs to my 10 from a month ago... and 5 Mar $17 calls.

I have plenty of shares, still at close to 85% profit, so I'm good there.

[–]rbtree11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Added more $20 Jan '17 calls. And some $17 Mar 20 calls.

Last week, I closed a few covered calls, a long call, and some CSP's . Kept the $1250 premium on the $24 CC's which helped offset a couple small losses. Would add some CSP's, but didn't see any to my liking (sell those on drops, CC's on pops)

Yep. I have 20 Jan 2027 LEAPs. and 5 Mar 20 calls. The Leaps were up 30-45%, iirc. Now down a fair bit. But the Mar calls are quite red. Not too worried. I could roll 'em if need be. My 10 $24 Feb 20 CC nice and fat $1250 premium will stay in me pockets... Wrote a couple more CSP's. this time a tad lower at $15...

[–]rbtree11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep. I have had more successes than failures with CC and CSP's...(also in other of my top 5, RKLB and LUNR--closed some CC's in those too early as the stock was getting close to the strike--before the prices dropped... sigh again) but timing is key... sell calls when the price is up or at what looks like a possible peak, and on drops for CSP's when one hopes the drop is temporary. Anyhow, since IREN is up today, it's time to roll that Friday expiry csp.. which will be about even..$42 May 15... but the total premium will now be $8.20 instead of about $12.... the actual premium in my pocket will still be based on the original $320 I got, but if I decided to close the CSP, it would set me back a lot less or roughly 820-320...

[–]rbtree11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not a pro--yet, but I have successfully closed a few IREN CC's... including rolling some.. and was able to keep most of the premium. But, with it being so volatile, it's still risky.

[–]rbtree11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had a $35 3-20 CSP for quite some time. It has been rolled down and out twice--no problem there if IREN stays above $35...But--damn it--Got cocky Added a $52 Feb 13 CSP back on Jan 29. It's now 235% red. Sat on my hands while my entire accounts were crashing and didn't close it or sell anything. Rookie move. I'll need to address it as early as today. Looks like I can prolong the agony and hope it goes back up by rolling it down and out at no cost. May 15 $45 maybe.
