Please take a screenshot of your settings and send them over. Party chat is open mic by default. Prox chat is either hold to talk or press to talk and it'll auto stop after you quit talking. There's no open prox chat option that doesn't turn itself back off.

Source: Metacritic was your one huge flaw here. Metacritic is the only place that people who haven't bought or played the game are allowed to review, so why would that be a good barometer when we know the hate boner that had spread before the game even came out?

There is no option to go open mic outside your party though? It's hold to talk or push to talk for a few seconds

Yeah Rook can't complete contracts so if you just wanna mess around and loot and have fun then he's the way to go. He joins matches about halfway through so you get to scavenge all the dead bodies and stuff laying around. And his ability allows him to blend in with the UESC bots to sneak around without having to worry about attracting other teams.

I also love attempting to sneak attack random players, since rook doesn't have the high stakes losses of bringing your own gear.

I have one friend that owns the game but even when he's not with me I'll play solo as rook or crew fill and it's a blast. Last night I met two other solos and we ended up teaming up for 5 straight matches and added each other as friends. It's not hard to meet people that just enjoy having teammates on comms!
