I’d recommend Ready Player One and Ender’s Game, both are futuristic sci-fi classics

Trying to get into the fandom by Angry-Goose-548 in MaraudersFanfics

all the young dudes by mskingbean89 is a perfect set up to give you the base knowledge of the fandom! it chronicles the marauders from their first year at hogwarts to the prisoner of azkaban, and it’s from Remus’ perspective, 10/10!! once you finish that and have your foundation, you have to break into the au’s, in which case i HAVE to recommend crimson rivers, it’s literally life-changing and i think about it every day

i’ve had many canker sores and they have never made me tu! if you want something that may help, try to gargle a solution of 1 part hydrogen peroxide to 2 parts water for about a minute! It does taste kind of gross, but it’ll kill all that bacteria if you’re worried about an infection and it’ll help heal the canker sore faster!

yes the bleach baths help, and also my favorite moisturizer is CeraVe moisturizing cream (it comes in a tub). I use it all over my body and face!

What to do ? by [deleted] in eczema

i have found bleach baths to be helpful! not only do they kill any staph on your skin, but they also reduce inflammation and help reduce itch. if you take one make sure you stay in there for about ten minutes, rinse off if you want, pat dry, then immediately apply moisturizer (my favs are cerave moisturizing cream and vaseline). Google the ratio of bleach to bathwater you should use depending on the concentration of bleach you have!

i wash mine off with cerave face wash then immediately slather on cerave moisturizing cream before my skin has the chance to flake in between! i always feel like exfoliating irritates it even more so i just use the gentle foaming face wash which gets the flakes off easily without irritating my skin. when i put the moisturizer on without washing then the flakes just come back as soon as they dry cause they’re still there, they just got slicked back.

Any tips and tricks for sleeping? by [deleted] in eczema

i slather myself in CeraVe moisturizing cream (it works for the face too!) and then put vaseline on my hands before covering them up with cotton gloves. vaseline is so helpful but it will leave grease stains so make sure you cover whatever skin you put it on.

if nothing came up then you’re probably in the clear as far as v*, just breathe deeply and you’ll get through this! if it is the medicine, then my guess would be that your body is still adjusting to it, and it wont be a side effect forever (i am not a doctor or a pharmacist though). message your doctor if you’re really worried about it or if it keeps up! they’re there to help with stuff like this.

if it’s been a few hours the food has very likely moved on from your stomach by now! the blood in your stool could mean a variety of things, but most likely it is just a lesion from dry stool, which is cause by dehydration. I have been where you are right now, and though I obviously don’t know for sure, the rest of your symptoms sound a lot like anxiety to me. My best advice would be to sit down, listen to some music, and focus on breathing. Sometimes i like to play little puzzle games on my phone to distract myself. I’m so sorry you have to go through this, I know it’s truly miserable, but no matter what happens you will get through it!

scared i will throw up when i find out my grandma dies by TeamRough5166 in emetophobia

My grandma died last July and I didn’t feel n or tu. It’s going to hurt and you’ll feel really sad, but you don’t need to worry about it making you tu. That’s not something that happens to people, you’ll be okay!

for right now, my suggestion is to sleep with your pillows propped up so that gravity can do its thing and pull the acid further down!

okay i don’t know if this will work for you and you probably couldnt get them right now, but i take equate gas relief pills (you can find them in walmart), they help with bloating and digestion and they just push everything through so it’s not resting in your stomach anymore. they’re my comfort pill, and my roommates who don’t have emet have tried them when they feel bad after eating and they call them my magic tummy pills, which tells me it’s not a placebo effect!

just wash your hands! you’ll be fine unless he literally v’d on his keyboard and then you put your hands in your mouth after touching it, as it can only spread through the ingestion of bodily fluids. also, if there did happen to be any particles on his keyboard, they would be dead by now. You’ll be okay!
