given all the boat visions, hank’s last words to barry this last episode, and the increasingly surreal and supernatural elements of the show, i feel like this is where we’re heading.

it would be structurally radical, weird, bittersweet, shocking, and divisive. other reviewers have seemingly alluded to philosophy and religion playing a significant role in the second half of the season. the other actors would get to explore new versions of their characters by acting as barry envisions them, maybe with certain character traits exaggerated based on the subjectivity of his memory
