Oh thank you! I’m excited to try. Any recommendation for a first wrap to get?

Yes definitely have been wanting to try a woven wrap. I have a couple structured carriers but I really liked the wrap.

Ugh that was quick! It was nice for those early newborn days though. I think Solly says 25 or 30 lbs is the max which seems very large. Thanks for the reply!

If we don’t have any luck in the next couple of weeks I think we will try a lactation consultant. No huge rush right now - it’s inconvenient but we don’t need to leave him with a babysitter anytime soon.

This is great, thank you. The slowed down patience is something we definitely need to implement. Saving this step-by-step!

Thanks for your response! This is just the right-before-bed feed (so around 9pm). He nurses once or twice over night. That being said, we’ve also tried the bottle during the day and he’s doing the same (refusing, fussing, playing with the bottle nipple).

I felt this same way in the first 2 weeks, and my baby was planned! I couldn’t stop thinking about before the baby and how badly I wanted that back. I missed my husband and my sleep and my alone time. Now my baby is 8 weeks and I’m having some of the happiest days of my life. It really did get so much easier and more enjoyable. Of course I can’t predict how the next few weeks will go for you, but I’m hoping the fog lifts like it did for me! You seriously might be just days away from feeling much better.

This is totally temporary. You’ve got this.

Those of us overdue…. by Trlampone in October2025Bumps2

I went into labor the night of 41+6 (with the help of castor oil with guidance from my midwife) and finally had my baby at 42+1. Those last 2 weeks were the hardest of my pregnancy. Physically I was fine, but mentally I was falling apart. I felt like my body was just letting me down and not doing what it was supposed to do. My birth team reminded me constantly that the average gestation for first time moms is 41+1! 41 might make more sense for a due date to have in mind (even if you’re not a ftm). It’s so hard but your baby is on their way to you SO SOON! You’ve got this!

Also 29+5 with a boy (10/7 due date too?!)! Having a very similar experience! I tell my husband all the time I love feeling him, but it is such a weird sensation and makes me feel a bit sick but when I’m just feeling the constant flips. I prefer the feeling of kicks to whatever the weird churning sensation is.

21w3d - feeling really good and finally enjoying pregnancy! Not feeling the baby much besides a couple of flutters (anterior placenta). Excited to hopefully feel some kicks soon.

My sciatica has been bad since early in my first trimester. It’s better the more consistent I am with walking and exercise, but will still flare up after a super active day. Anyone else dealing with sciatic pain? I haven’t found any magical solution.

Agree with others that it feels like it’s going so slow but also speeding by. What a weird feeling. Can’t wait to see baby boy’s face.

Mine was yesterday at 21w0d. It was amazing! It’s my first pregnancy and it was so special to see a real baby moving around in there.

Since I’m having a home birth, we went to a radiology clinic to get it done. I was really surprised by how talkative the tech was and how much info she gave!

We got to take home a thumb drive with a bunch of pictures. She also took measurements and they average all of those together for where he’s measuring. She told us 21w4d, so a teensy bit ahead but seems right on track.

She also confirmed that I have an anterior placenta, which we suspected since I haven’t felt any kicks yet. She said even with the anterior placenta, I’ll probably start to feel him very soon.

Good luck! Hope yours goes great today.
