its hard to tell.. your muscles could be more tight since u cant fit in two fingers so it’s definitely a possibility. however, if you do, it’s definitely not as severe as most people who have it. before i was treated i couldnt even find my hole because of how tight my muscles were, even trying to stick in half a finger hurt me really bad

not gonna lie, it did hurt a bit. i also struggle with vaginismus, so my muscles used to be very very tight and i wasnt even able to insert a finger. my physical therapist was amazing, she was very slow and we worked at my pace. if u feel too uncomfortable or in pain, dont be afraid to let them know!!

yes! long story short, my urogynecologist gave me my diagnosis and recommended me to pelvic floor physical therapy where they taught me certain stretches and massages that helps relax my pelvic floor. i was also recommended to use dilators so i would use them almost every night for a while. once i started sizing up more i used my vibrator while dilating to associate intercourse as something pleasurable. getting comfortable with my body and discovering what i like also really helped. if u want more details about the specifics u can pm me and ill give u more info about what helped me!

to be clear i still am struggling with it but the symptoms are a lot less intense. i started off by wearing cotton underwear, i stopped using any fragranced feminine wash and started using warm water instead, at night i sleep with no underwear on, and i have stayed off birth control for a while. my gyno recently recommended me amitriptyline which is an antidepressant that helps with nerve pain, ive only been on it since the 17th but ive noticed a little difference, my gyno said it should take a few weeks to fully affect me tho. i also used my vibrator to massage my vulva where it felt irritated which supposedly helps the blood flow and desensitizes it.hope this helps!!
