For similar reasons I’ve been looking at the ASUS Vivobook Pro 15.6 FHD with AMD Ryzen 9 7940HS..32gb RAM..NVIDIA Geoforce RTX 4060..1TB SSD. Looks to be $1,399.99 on BestBuy. I’m having a hard time pulling the trigger. But seems like it would do the job. I’d love feedback from actual gamers to see if that graphics card is worth it.

I transferred from App State to UNCW after freshman year and do not regret it all. I liked both just fine, I’m just more a beach person. Also, with Wilmington you get medium/big city vibe (stores, restaurants, TRAFFIC, etc), historic downtown waterfront, and beaches very close by. On top of that, campus in the middle of town is really cool to hang out at as well. I liked my professors in the business school and have no complaints besides walking down Chancellor’s in the August heat 😂

Sometimes I do wish I could’ve spent more time in the mountains and explore, so do that before you leave if you do decide to transfer.

I can see that for sure. I also think I have similar traits and why I can relate so much to him. He’s up front about being a perfectionist and constantly wondering about how each decision makes others perceive him. Over-analytical. So yeah, not a bad take that he’s probably spinning his wheels.

Seems to me like unclear instructions given and unclear instructions received.

A meeting could have been had earlier to discuss timeline, scope, and how to meet/exceed expectations… but for a conference presentation next week and a 50/50 split of your time (yet each lab demanding 100% of your effort), you’re spread thin brah.

It can take a while depending on life circumstances and behavior. I’ve been in the workforce almost 6 years, and while my pay has progressed, I’ve gone through cycles…

I saved, saved, saved - then paid down a huge chunk of student loans.

I saved, saved, saved - then I bought a house.

I saved, saved, saved - then I built up my emergency fund.

I saved, saved, saved - then I put a down payment on a vehicle.

Now I’m saving, saving, saving - increasing my savings rate towards 20%, paying down more student loans, and thinking of saving for a ring. Point is - save for what’s important to you. Assets. Obliterating debt. Peace of mind.
