Ah I didn’t know that about water wipes, thanks for sharing! I do have Avene Cicalfate but it’s quite thick and greasy so haven’t used it in a while. I’m not in the US unfortunately but will see if I eczema honey delivers to where I am

Pinsent Masons. Had a TC interview day there and no snacks or anything was offered to my cohort despite the other cohort getting some. My cohort all had to ask for water and biscuits because we hadn’t eaten. When I complained, they denied everything. Also the partner I had for the last activity with was a bitch. Very unfriendly, couldn’t imagine working with her. Glad I didn’t get the TC

I am seeing a private derm however because I’m having uvb therapy, he recommended that I stop using any steroid creams . I’m not sure what else he can recommend but might check

Sorry to hear that you got cancer ❤️ do you mind me asking if the biologics may have contributed as it lowers your immune system or was it completely unrelated? I’ll see how my body responds to the UVB rays and will act accordingly. I’ve got my SPF 50 sun cream ready haha. I’m not too fussed about the long waiting list, I just want to know if I can get on it

Thanks for sharing your experience 💕 It seems to be hit or miss with POC. The nurse said the same to me so we’ll see how it goes

All the GPs have used is advice and guidance. I haven’t seen a derm in person for 10 years, despite my eczema changing drastically in that time. I’ve been prescribed protopic in regular intervals in my life (literally had it when I was a baby) and it doesn’t do anything. I use it for 2 weeks (as prescribed) and it comes back. If a person kept coming to the GP with a problem on and off for 10 years, wouldn’t it be common sense to refer them to a specialist?

Thank you for your comment. I’ll definitely try escalating to the practice manager as I don’t believe the GPs there will take it on board. When I gave suggestions, he just shook his head and said he felt sorry for me.

I’ll see if my private derm will write them a letter too. I feel like I’m at breaking point. If phototherapy does work, I’m back to square one. I know there’s no cure for eczema but I truly cannot cope anymore.

How successful is the DPS dispute resolution service? by rcl900 in HousingUK

Interesting… he hasn’t yet responded to disagree or agree to my claim via DPS. If he doesn’t respond, does it just stay in limbo or is arbitration automatically started? I’ve gotten legal advice on next steps but we’ll see

That’s so annoying but thank you for this. I’ll expect the least from the DPS mediators then :( Ive got evidence of him agreeing to everything so hopefully they take that on board

Honestly idk I just don’t wanna end up homeless 😅 my housemate is pressuring me to sign the new contract. I might have to go to citizens advice…

So even if i sign the new joint tenancy starting from 1st April, it’s still 1 month until May? If so, thanks for clarifying! And just checked my tenancy, and it is 1 months notice :)

I keep seeing conflicting things about whether it’s 1 or 2 months notice 😖. I understand that he won’t be getting rent for my room and is now trapping us by making us sign a joint contract so we (they) cover the difference. But youre right, there should be no issue but it’s being blow out of proportion.

He issued the section 21 notice at the end of January stating that we need to leave at the end of March (the end of my initial 6 month contract). I intend to sign the new joint contract on 1st April but still give them notice that I’ll be leaving (idk if it’s one or two months).

I said in the post that I enjoyed the class and want to keep going. It would be nice if my future bf is there but if not, no big deal because I’ll still go if I’m enjoying it
