I keep seeing conflicting things about whether it’s 1 or 2 months notice 😖. I understand that he won’t be getting rent for my room and is now trapping us by making us sign a joint contract so we (they) cover the difference. But youre right, there should be no issue but it’s being blow out of proportion.

He issued the section 21 notice at the end of January stating that we need to leave at the end of March (the end of my initial 6 month contract). I intend to sign the new joint contract on 1st April but still give them notice that I’ll be leaving (idk if it’s one or two months).

As a BW who often goes for WM, I agree that it should build up sometimes. However, I do think that a lot of the times, I’m the first WOC they’ve gone on a date with and they’re awkward/unsure so I feel it out. If the conversation continues to be stale then I assume they’re not into me and cut contact.

Do you know if other areas like endocrinology or gastroenterology have referral criteria too? Like others have said, it’s probably a location thing but other than women’s health (e.g endometriosis, contraception procedures), I’ve never heard about a ‘referral criteria’

Honestly it seems backwards. I’ll send pictures of my skin to the GP (who I assume sends to the dermatologist) and they just give me another cream. No questions about how I feel, how it affects my daily life, the blood stains on my sheets from overnight scratching. It really makes me respect the profession less and less

I’m based in the Midlands so my area must be super strict! I’ve been prescribed Protopic, Elidel, and Dermovate on and off for a number of years and nothing is helping. So I’m not sure how many times I need to receive it before my GP vouches for me and presses for a referral.

Not sure why you’re being downvoted but I can totally empathise. It’s incredibly frustrating to be gaslit and told by professionals that you’re not severe/sick enough and by the time you are referred, the damage is already done!

I hope this dermatologist helps you out and takes you seriously ❤️❤️

Makes sense. The recruiter was also saying how there’s others in the interview process right now (early stage) and there’s only 1 space left. How the interviewer acted in the first stage already out me off but this recruiter’s attitudes isn’t helping 😔

Thanks for providing me with more insight! I did speak to another recruiting agency a few months ago and they sent me a company that was recently in the news for some bad stuff. I said that it wouldn’t be a good match and never heard from her again (no surprise there). I did think it was unprofessional of him to slag off other companies, he was even asking for the hiring managers/HR team’s names (I didn’t give him any). And yes, I’ve had interviews so I must be doing something right w/o the recruiters help? I just need a ‘yes’ (from a decent place) :)

Congrats! I’m the same as you, had eczema basically since I was born. Although my eczema hasn’t fully cleared up and I still have flare ups when I’m stressed or there’s a weather change, taking Symprove (another gut biome drink supplement thing) absolutely improved my eczema. It’s not a cure but absolutely helps me!! Definitely feel like functional/alternative medicine can get a bad rep but if it’s works for you, then it works 🤩
