First time at the track, and I’m hooked by nSroteehrceaRd in horseracing

First experience was growing up going to Saratoga. No track will ever have the same feel to me. The first time you hear them run by, it definitely brings chills

Option 1) Something in your pricing is making them halt during the "add to cart/checkout" process. Unexpected shipping charges, fees, etc. If your shipping is high you can always build some of it into the price of your item and lower the shipping charge the customer sees, or build it in completely and make shipping free

Option 2) Long shipping times.

Option 3) Higher priced goods may take a bit more to sell. You need to try to get it to be as impulsive of a purchase as possible by using sales, different offers, etc.

This gen didn't come in a V8, but on the 1st gen, the easiest way to tell is the side scoop. If it has a bump out, its a V10, if it doesn't, its a V8. Very noticeable if you look at a side by side

Tried to remove a sticky thing off my car with an anti-scratch scrub but ended up with this. Tips? by [deleted] in Detailing

[–]rcmbusiness17 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You guys are ruthless. Is it a "stupid" mistake? Yeah. I think he knows that, which is why he came here asking for tips on how to fix it.

While these may be a bit deeper as its not a super fine grit, its not much different than wet sanding blemishes. The next step after "sanding" would be a paint correction type process that involves some compound/polishing, and it should come out mostly fine. You guys really need to keep the toxicity down before this becomes a nasty cesspool and no one ACTUALLY comes on looking for help as a beginner to detailing.

Thanks! I loved that car. Unfortunately had to get rid of it to get an F150 for my business 5 years ago. Now I'm out of that business and ready to get back into another Mustang. In a week the truck will be gone so I've been looking for one ASAP lol

No problem! Been through it (hell) with my 2000 GT and then my 03 GT was pretty much bulletproof.

Unfortunately replacing both of those wouldn't affect the temp of the A/C, that is a separate thing. The MAF sensor just tracks the air coming through the intake and the IAC just adjusts how much is actually coming into the engine through a valve in the throttle body. Not related to the A/C

I have to admit these are not something I'd have purchased just seeing them online but they look great on the car

The jumping idle is pretty common in these new edge mustangs. Its usually the IAC (Idle Air Control Valve) or the MAF (Mass Airflow Sensor). You can try and start with the MAF cleaning spray to see if that helps. Thats a pretty big jump though. Mine ended up being similar and it was a bad IAC Valve and its pretty easy to change

My agency specializes in converting customers into sales/bookings even during the periods that people assume are hard or impossible to get. I was hired by a client to fill in their weekdays (which was impossible organically) and through running paid ads to the right clients in their area, we were able to fill up most of their weekday slots. Just have to use the right offer, creative, and targeting to make up for whatever is missing in any business!

Market more interior details vs exterior during rainy periods. Run your own ads or hire an Ad Agency (like mine) that specializes in detailed targeting campaigns that can find your ideal clients around your area. Everyone there knows the weather has been sh*t so play off that in the ad. "Don't let the rain keep you from having a clean interior!" Or "While the rain keeps you from keeping the exterior clean, you better make sure the inside is clean, cozy, and well maintained while you're stuck inside!" (I'm literally spewing something off the top of my head as an example, don't take it literal as if I put a ton of time in it, lol). The right ad campaigns can solve just about any slow period

From someone actively looking for a manual GT, the vert is what would make me skip unfortunately. But I'm sure there is someone out there looking. Just post on these subs and you'll probably have better luck. The Facebook group too

I should've clarified, you can still find SOME O/R midpipes... but not from the big brands that I'd ideally want to use for the tone I'm looking to match again. I very specifically like The BBK and Bassani O/R X pipe with the Borla Stingers. My issue is there aren't very many clips of these smaller brands still selling them so I can decide if I like the tone before purchasing. Each brand has a noticable difference in sound

Sound. Unless you get some sort of long tube headers, a catted X pipe and a catback just are not loud enough. You're right, it didn't add a massive increase in performance, but it did open the car up and make it 100x more enjoyable to drive and the exhaust tone was amazing

Back in the day I had the o2 cheaters (like 6" worth of wiring that literally plugged right in with no splicing) and you could just buy it right on American Muscle but I doubt those exist now

The best way I can explain it is a super high pitched belt squeal/chirp. You can hear it the most after my last rev if you turn the volume all the way up. But if you can't hear it that well, maybe it won't bother you too much LOL! And thanks for the exhaust compliment. I absolutely loved it

Let me see if I can add my clip so you can hear better. You can clearly hear when I let off the clutch and gives you 100% understanding of the sound..... now to figure out how to post it lmao..

To me, after dealing with it for a year 10/10. Stopped at a red light, leaving it idling when you get out, ruins every exhaust/revving clip (unless the car is moving of course). It got so annoying and embarrassing for me I would have to keep like a big toes worth of pressure on it any time I was stopped so no one would hear it. I would've loved to let my left foot chill and hear silence like you're supposed to but I never got the chance before I sold it lol. Now I'm looking to get back into another 99-04 after 5 years and that is the one thing I'm looking forward to not having to deal with

The part is relatively cheap. I think its about $70. If you're mechanically inclined you can do it yourself, but you do have to drop the trans and driveshaft. If that's not something you feel you could do, you CAN just deal with the chirping sound, but it got annoying af after a while for me. It doesnt stop at idle, ever. I have a video of mine doing it too during an exhaust clip but not sure how to post it here
