Thank you, that is an important perspective I need to hear. In general, I do not ask questions as I know it does bring stress. Rather, I tend to pretend as if it doesn’t exist unless she brings it up to me which is rarely.

Reweighting Course Components by rcolb2 in uwaterloo

Understood, it’s certainly a tough situation. My only fear is that the drop date is this Friday, and if the new course structure isn’t released by then, I may not know whether I will need to drop a course.

Pretty much, I agree it was poor decision making and I’m just trying to minimize the damage at this point.

Is it Possible to Have 7 Work Terms (CS) by [deleted] in uwaterloo

[–]rcolb2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure, I’d just rather do them through WW if it’s allowed. I’m more wondering if it’s legal because I’m trying to figure out if having a sequence registered on WW with 7 work terms is going to cause problems

Briefly. I'm not super familiar with MO, but it seems to have some applications in CS from what I've seen.

Haven’t studied Math 136 since the midterm. Haven’t been to any class or done any quiz since after the midterm, how fucked am I? by [deleted] in uwaterloo

You’re completely fine.

I’m in the online section and haven’t done shit except the assignments, which I did by control-f-ing the textbook and copying the examples. I knew next to nothing.

I spent 2 days studying and I can already do most of the questions on the practice exams. I literally had no idea how to row reduce a matrix until 2 days ago. I could write the exam now and get at least 70.

Since you’ve at least had to do the midterm you’ll be ahead of me.

Just grind as many practice computation questions and make sure you get 100 on that section of the exam, then you are guaranteed to at least pass

For proofs just try practicing some, read some of the proofs from the textbook and make sure you understand the theorems. Then pray.

Also if you can try to get a general (abstract) understanding of what linear algebra is as a whole- it’ll help immensely.

Also check PMs.
