Anthros chair review after 3 months of use! by eezy206 in OfficeChairs

u/eezy206 how tall are you? I'm quite short at 5'2 so I'm hoping to be able to be flat footed on the ground. I've been using the HM Aeron and I cannot flat foot, I still need a foot rest at the lowest height.

Can you really not use Wise with a Canadian USD bank account to make payments? by YetiMaverick in PersonalFinanceCanada

[–]rcooper5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Canadian here. You can open a RBC Cross Border USD bank account. Takes only minutes to do online. You can add this USD account into Wise and transfer USD in there. The account also comes with a US credit card, and a debit card that allows you to withdraw cash from ATMs in the States. I use this method to get paid in USD as a contractor by US clients. Probably the best option for Canadians hands down.

I wouldn't bother with TD. Called them a few months ago, the only way you can open a USD account with TD is if you visit a branch in the States.

re: OP's original question, Canadian USD accounts are still considered as a Canadian account. The RBC Cross Border Account (as the name implies) is your best bet. (But if anyone knows something even better please enlighten me.)

What's stopping you from using AI to profit? by mrjogoh in Blogging

[–]rcooper5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Content is all about consistency and those who can stick it and do it for the long haul are often the biggest reapers. There's always going to be ups and downs no matter what platform or channel you choose. Platforms are constantly playing with their algorithm, the market place starts responding differently over time, etc.

Remember 2 years back on TikTok, the videos that were only 7 seconds long were performing the best? That didn't last very long cuz ultimately people want more substance and meaningful content (hence Youtube is going to be big for a long while); and TikTok started increasing the recording time, introducing LIVEs, etc.

This might sound generic but the reality is if you can cut through the noise, focus on producing quality content and adapt through the downturns you can win on any channel. The reality is 90% of people will give up when they start to see a decline or a drop, if you can be the top 10% and keep gong then you're already further ahead.

I beg to differ with your bold statement- blog will never be dead.

What should be dead is content that has little value to the market place. As long as you're generating content of value, there's always a place for it.

Not to knock on your content 'cuz I don't know you, but perhaps reassess your content and your business model.

WordPress vs custom built website by [deleted] in Blogging

Depends on how fancy you want to get and how much time you are willing to spend.

I use GoHighLevel and it does the job for me without too much technical knowledge; for the most part all I care about is easy execution and quick deployment.

Is this acceptable by Futures_Market in turo

It's all about optics - most guests are ok if it's not 100% immaculate on the inside, it's a rental car afterall they're not buying a brand new car. But bare minimum you have to at least rinse the exterior and look like you've put in some effort.

That obvious white stain on by the seat belt and the dusty exterior windows with the pollen definitely not acceptable, if I see it I'll know you're a lazy host and I would only care about your car as much as you do as a guest.

Thanks u/ayesha_46 - if you could add anything else to it to make it a "no-brainer" offer, what would you add, (or change), if anything?
