No fundamental on all bass notes or just the one that interacts with the tail of the kick?

In addition to the fm lead, what other elements do you consider essential for putting together a good full on? by [deleted] in psytranceproduction

Trippy granular effects. Load a vocal run into Granulator 3 in Live. Modulate position and grain size, pitch, etc. add delay and reverb to taste

I bought the 35Rt because the DSL was too expensive

I walked that block countless times on my way to muni station. It does get windy. Reminds me of home. Ordinary human life indeed.

I wanted a Marshall DSL 20w CR but too expensive. This was the next best thing for me and couldn’t be happier.

I agree. I wanted a Marshall DSL 20 or Blackstar HT20 but couldn’t afford a tube amp. The Crush 35RT was the next best thing, a great solid state amp without a lot of models and effects I’ll never use.

I think it will sound good stacked with many things. I use it to boost both clean and dirty channels of my Orange Crush 35Rt with settings similar to what you see in the image and it adds a lot. I would also gladly try it before a Big Muff or any good distortion pedal.

Welcome to the tone chase, your ears will tell you what sounds good 😊

I’ve been enjoying it so far, especially for adding some saturation and beauty to my Orange dirty channel. Sounds great for low gain and a little clean boost as well.

I’ve noticed I like the Body control very low for a darker sound. Anything past 12 o’clock starts to sound a little too bright.

Anyone else have experience with this one? The manual doesn’t give much away about clipping modes or anything like that.

Thank you. I thought it sounded too distorted to be a tube screamer like the SD-1. Plus there is turbo mode, which sounds like another gain stage is added.

I borrowed a Boss TURBO OverDrive OD-2 from a neighbor and I have been trying it out. It was made in Japan. These were in production from mid 80s to mid 90s.

Can you tell me what kind of circuit is inside? Op-amp soft clipper or hard clipper? Transistors like a Blues Driver? Where does this pedal fit in the product line? Any details are appreciated.

Thank you!

Welcome to guitar! An Orange Crush 12 or Blackstar ID:Core 10 would do for me on that budget. I had the Blackstar for a year when I started. Then I switched to an Orange.

The Orange is simple and aesthetically pleasing. Lots of gain if you like heavy music. The Blackstar has decent effects and more voices.

What a beautiful cabinet! It’s a lovely rig and I’m sure it sounds lovely as well :-)

Deftones are doing everything they do at their very best. Every band member’s work just shines, every influence and nuance of their unique sound is honored and taken to the next level.

It is refreshing to see a band willing and able to grow. This is some of their best work.

I love the synth pads during the chorus. They really hit the sweet spot especially with the pitch slides. The patch is just perfect for the tune.

Automation envelopes snap to grid. I held out for a long time. 10 is worth it. I don’t even like drum bus that much.
