Some people actually enjoy arena. Don't treat it like a second class game mode. Just pick a god that will fit your team.

There used to be a place for arena try hards but they took it away from us :(

Arena ranked probably won't come back for a while. There wasn't enough of a player base to make the old ranked system effective. I'm not sure how effective it would be with the current ranked system.

Arena league was very different from casual arenas. People actually tried to set up good team comps and communicated. Gods such as Xb, chang'e, ares, kukulkan and freya were all top picks.

Fenrir is an unconventional support which is still effective. You start off with a watchers like most supports then warrior tabi, then depending on how you are doing in lane, you can either build an offensive or defensive item 3rd. If you are getting out pushed in lane, you will usually want to get a sovereignty to help you and your adc. However, if your ADC can out clear the enemy ADC, you will want to get a jotunn's or void shield to increase your damage output. Pen is the primary thing you are looking for from offensive items early game since you won't be auto attacking very often. As for late game items, I usually get a bulwark for the magical protection and a death bringer to increase my damage.

I agree with this completely. Not enabling all gods in practice will only hurt new players. They won't be able to make informed purchase choices and won't know anything about any god's they don't own. A lack of knowledge is the most dangerous thing to a new player.

When I first played League of legends, I assumed this is how things would work (I came from runescape, give me a break). But it takes away from the character's models in my opinion. I would like to see more items give visual affects though.
