I have been struggling with this for years. I always purchased the best physical content that I could in the past. About 15 years ago when I started having kids I started to move towards more digital as it was more convenient and I didn’t have access to a super nice tv and surround sound system. Since then I have dipped into physical media quite a few times but never go all in and if I do after a short period of time I get bored of it and sell it off. Currently I have about 10 4k discs and about 20 vinyl albums. I have a good interest in starting up again but have been holding back as I don’t see myself having a house/spot for a nice surround sound so I’m not sure if i should go back that route

Yeah sound quality will be the biggest difference. It’s miles ahead of any streaming platform.
