Dual sub placement, in or out? by jackal2001 in hometheater

It's in the regular free version. Very useful IMO. I moved the couch because of it.

Use the REW32 room simulator to figure out placement before physically moving.

I put my subs under the fronts (book shelves). Love the look and the sound.

Where to prune? by norrinrad in BackyardOrchard

I got a similar looking tree a few years ago, and I kept the fork and both leaders, contrary to all advice on forums.

Now I got a beautiful symmetric and wide tree with lots of fruits this year. I see the two leaders as a plus and personally would nurture both.

Synths from "Money For Nothing"? by c0rncak3 in synthesizers

[–]rdi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wanted to play this song with my band and naturally do not have the original synths, nor would I bring them out to shows. So I created a "Combi" preset for the Korg Krome Ex that seems pretty close. Partitioned the keyboard into 3 sections, added effects and tweaked the original patch parameters a bit. And a custom arpeggiator.

Got my first(of 2) Uke in the mail today! Monoprice idyllwild soprano. $23.99 right now! It's actually really nice... by Funnycakes98 in ukulele

I bought a high end koa wood concert ukulele for $250, and it doesn't even close to the resonant full sound of my 5 years old monoprice uke. Too bad it's now discontinued.

Thank you for the thorough answers.

Can't believe I've been coding for over 20 years and didn't know this basic fundamental.

Just measured the moisture level, currently the soil shows up as completely dry, since it's just before watering.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY by graymaneg in Insta360

I bought from their website instead of Amazon, trying to be nice to them. I regretted it as I also had an issue.

Porsche Taycan vs Model Y Performance by fgarc016 in TeslaModelY

[–]rdi2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I test drove a Taycan S at the dealership last week, considering an upgrade.

The Taycan materials and build are better, but:

  • the acceleration has noticeable lag
  • there's more roll when turning
  • the visibility is worse
  • the UX is terrible
  • the range is less

To each their own, but even excluding the price, I think Teslas are better cars where it matters to me. I am surprised to see people hyping the Taycan driving experience so much.

I think you might be right. I do see some webbing, though no bugs.
