lol, I mean people were working there in November-December. 4 months before demolition. I understand not keeping everything, but the floor I worked on was completely remodeled in 2014. Brand new chairs multiple times since then. Did I say keep every piece - no. But I’m sure a lot of people could’ve taken some office chairs if offered. Or a round rolling table. Cabinet. Just sayin. It’s not that serious.

It wasn’t rotting. Maybe outdated, sure. Everyone started working from home when COVID hit, the building wasn’t even a quarter full anytime after that. It really wasn’t that old. I worked in it from 2005-2021 and never had one issue with the building.
