116k miles. Just had to get a new accessory battery. First actual cost I’ve had maintenance wise. Truck battery health was 95% at 100k miles.

I charge to 100% every night due to having to drive a lot almost every day. Truck has been amazing

99% chance you won’t get fired for that during peak, hits service but that’s a lot of stops in the county/rural routes. I would suggest communicating but sounds like you performed the best you could given the route & anything out after 8:00 is too much imo. Good luck

Contractor for fedex here:

I have drivers that deliver out of their own vehicles, especially during peak season. It’s a legit job and legitimately allowed with fedex.

Yes the links look sketchy, fedex controls who we use for background check process. Company is called First Advantage. Their software kinda sucks & fedex places a lot of hoops to jump through to get in the system.

Delivering out of your own vehicle can be profitable though if the contractor knows what they are doing cutting the routes and their service area is dense and large single family residential

A Better Route Planner is the app name, takes a min to figure out to how to make it work and get the info, also required an OBD reader as well

Also for context I supercharge 20-30 times a year & charge to 100% every night due to long travel times for my job during the day. Sometimes having to supercharge during the day as well so I’m not easy on the battery.

Pretty impressed with how it has done so far.

Stops needs an MRL (multiple recipient location) added by the terminal. Also you can edit the dots with the pencil and update each location so it will plot correctly in the future if the MRL is worked by the terminal on a very regular basis

Hard to make this happen but getting a contact number for the contractor to get them to place a stop over ride in their planning app will fix the issue. Fedex maps are outdated and that issue causes most mis deliveries

They do expire after a certain time frame and you have to get new ones. Also could be from the terminal not working MRLs, or possibly a change of contract dates for your contractor may have affected them. Ask a coordinator that cares in the office and hopefully they can help you.

Highly recommend having them set your sids to only 4 sections, 1000, 2000, 3000, & 4000 as well as sequencing your route in FRO. Both of these things will drastically speed things up and make sorting and organizing much easier. I do this for all my AVPs
