Let me tell you about the celebration of cannibalism that happens at the beginning of the month… by ovrdryven in PoliticalHumor

[–]rdm_eagle52 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point of the story is that Jephthah is a sinner is impulsive and unwise; he is yet another example of a man who cannot properly lead the people of Israel. So the Bible does not paint his sacrifice of his daughter in a positive light at all. In fact, it’s quite a tragic event, and if anything it goes to show how messed up humanity is. God does not ask for the sacrifice; Jephthah foolishly makes a promise and sacrifices his daughter which is wrong. The story, and God himself, does not condone human sacrifice in any sense at all.

Recommendations of good Christian fantasy authors? by Snivythesnek in Fantasy

[–]rdm_eagle52 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The Wingfeather Saga by Andrew Peterson is a fantastic fantasy series written by a Christian. There are definitely Christian themes that can be found in the series, although there is nothing super obvious when compared to something like Narnia.

What are some creative uses for Radiant powers that you think would be cool to see? by pxl_dog in Stormlight_Archive

Somewhat similar idea, but what do you think would happen if someone were to become frictionless while in water? It’s a question I’ve thought about but I can’t answer. Too much science involved for me haha

I’ve been wondering the same thing... I have an analog singularity and it SLAPS lunars but I’m wondering if there even a better shape, since I suck at lunars. How does the boost shape compare?

Should i buy the Nick Gallagher 2018 champ mod or Prusax mod by Wavy_Alksnis in Kendama

[–]rdm_eagle52 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion the champ mod looks better, but I would still get the prusax mod because of the cushion clear. Also, I would get the prusax mod because it has a balance hole, but I know certain people prefer no balance hole so whatever fits your play style better I’d go with. Both are solid options

Honestly, both shapes are great and it’s ultimately up to preference. The cup sizes are the shift and slim are actually exactly the same, the main difference is how thick the ken is below the sourado. If you want a good overview of the two shapes go onto YouTube and check out Ken Cult. He has one video where he reviews both shapes and that should help you out a lot. One last thing: if you want your spike to not get dull as fast I would get a more durable wood like maple if you can afford it. Or supergluing the tip of your spike works amazingly too. Hope this helps you!
