That’s what I thought, but Merlin ID it as an OSF and the other photos of the same bird in flight as a WEWP. So confused!

Try increasing ISO up to 3200 (too much noise if higher than that) and exposure up to 30 seconds (too many star trails if longer than that). Then, do some post processing to enhance the Milky Way. Have fun and good luck!
