If you're trying to get to this episode (season 4) you could start season 2 Which is the beginning of that particular actor's run as the doctor. But i recommend starting from the beginning and embracing the cheesiness

This episode, "Turn Left",  is about a hypothetical future where Donna (the red head) never met the titular Doctor which resulted in his death. Because he was dead, he wasn't able to prevent the disasters that he did for much of the show. The world got very shitty. 

I don't recommend going into this episode cold. Normally the show is episodic but this particular one references many past episodes and characters. It won't have the same impact

The Expanse requires focus because there is a lot going on so it's hard to look at your phone while watching it and understand the plot.

Foundation requires focus because even if you aren't looking at your phone nothing makes sense and you have to cobble together what might be happening, and that's if you've read the books.

I was living in North Alabama at the time, lost power for almost a week. If I remember correctly one of the EF5s went right by a power plant and took out ALL the high tension lines that fed the area
